Baked Tomatoes with Meat Recipe


Beef mince — 200 g
Tomatoes — 6 pcs.
Rice — 100 g
Onions — ½ pcs.
Garlic — 3 cloves
Fresh thyme — 5 branches
Parsley — 1 sprig
Salt, pepper to taste


1. At tomatoes to cut off tops and by means of a spoon to take a core which then it is necessary to cut and add in forcemeat. To give softness and unique aroma, add minced chopped onions, garlic and thyme, and also tomato pulp, which you will have left.

2. To make minced meat: boil rice and mix it with ground beef. Add chopped garlic and diced small onions.
When baking tomatoes can fall apart, but there is an easy way to keep the shape and appearance of the dish: before baking, make a few punctures with a toothpick in each tomato already filled with the filling.

3. Stuff the tomatoes and pierce them in several places with a skewer.
Before you put the mold with tomatoes in a preheated oven, put twigs of fresh thyme, and pour a little water on the bottom.

4. Stuff the stuffed tomatoes in a mold and cover with cut tops. Put the sprigs of thyme in the form.
