Chicken recipe in mustard sauce with rice

Today I cooked chicken in mustard sauce with rice here on this recipe. The dish is very simple to prepare. It turns out easily, fairly quickly, and very tasty. The main thing is to follow the prescription strictly.


● Chicken fillet — 400 g
● Sunflower oil — 3-4 tbsp.
● Sour cream — 2-3 tablespoons.
● French mustard — 1 tbsp.
● Flour — 1 tbsp.
● Salt, pepper — to taste.


1. Chop the chicken into cubes of medium size.

2. Fry it on a heated frying pan in sunflower oil.
I usually fry it until golden brown. This takes an average of 10-15 minutes. Do not rush and fry over high heat, even better, it slowly acquires a golden color, but it will get warmer during this time

3. When the chicken is fried, add the flour.
Stir well the chicken along with the flour, and fry for a while, 2-3 minutes.

4. Add the boiled water. It should just be boiled.
Mix well the entire contents of our frying pan, so that the flour dissolves in the water and there are no lumps left. A whitish homogeneous sauce should be produced.

5. Now add sour cream and mix everything well.

6. Finally, the highlight of my recipe is French mustard. It is sometimes called Dijon. Its main feature is the presence of mustard seeds. Its taste can be from sweet to very spicy. I use most often the French mustard of Heinz, because it is very fragrant and sharp.

Add this mustard to our chicken.
And we mix everything well.

7. Cover with a lid and simmer until the chicken is ready. If in the process of extinguishing the sauce evaporates and you think that it is not enough, you can add a little cream of 10% fat.

8. Ready chicken is best served with rice or mashed potatoes.
