How to cook a cake

Classic cakes and how to decorate them


For the test:
Flour — 200 g
Sugar — 150 g
Milk — 120 ml
Butter — 100 g
Eggs — 2 pcs.
Baking powder — 1 tsp.

Whisk the sugar and butter until smooth and lush. The oil must be soft. An hour before cooking, remove it from the refrigerator. Gradually add eggs, vanilla extract and salt. Above sow flour with baking powder. Stir well. Then add the milk and mix again.

Distribute the dough into molds. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes at 175 c.

When the capkakes cool down, they should be decorated with a cap from the cream. It is best to use a confectionery syringe with various nozzles

Cream options:

1. For cream (oil):

Butter — 200 g
Sugar powder — 4 cups
Milk — 100 ml
Vanilla extract — 1 tsp.

Blend with a mixer oil, gradually adding half of the powdered sugar. The oil must be soft. Then add milk and vanilla. Mix, and then add the remaining powder.

2. For cream (cream):

Cream cheese (mascarpone or philadelphia) — 170 g
Butter — 50 g
Vanilla extract — 1 tsp.
Sugar powder — 2.5 cups

Whisk the cheese and butter until smooth. Add vanilla extract and powdered sugar.

To obtain a colored cream, use food colors.
