Kurnik recipe

For pancakes:
1 egg
350 ml of milk
5 tablespoons With the top of the flour
Salt and sugar to taste

For the test:
400 g of flour
100 g of butter
1 egg
1/4 cup of milk
3 tablespoons Home-made sour cream
Pinch of soda

For filling:
1 chicken (about 1.4-1.5 kg)
400 g of mushrooms (ideally forest, but the mushrooms also went well :))
1 medium bulb
200 g of boiled rice
A bunch of greenery (parsley and urop)
2 boiled eggs
Salt and pepper to taste

To begin with we put to cook a chicken — this is best done in advance. Cook in salted water for about an hour. Then remove and cool. We use the broth at our discretion.

We cook the dough. Mix the softened butter, sour cream, milk and beaten egg. Gradually add soda and flour (see by the consistency — the flour can go a little less), knead the soft dough.

Dough
Cover it and put it for 40 minutes in the refrigerator.
Next, we make pancakes. We need 8-9 pieces.

Pancakes
We remove the meat from the chicken and tear it with our hands onto the fibers.

Chicken Filling
Rice is mixed with finely chopped eggs and greens. Salting to taste.

Mushrooms cut into small pieces and together with finely chopped onions, fry in vegetable oil until cooked.

Mushroom filling
We begin to collect the kurik. First we take out the dough from the refrigerator, we separate a little more than a quarter and roll out a cake, a bit bigger than our pancakes. We put it on a baking tray. On top put a third of the rice filling.

Assembly
Cover the pancake, top we put a third of the chicken.
Again, cover with a pancake, put a third of mushrooms with onions.
We alternate pancakes and stuffing, until this very filling is over.

From the remaining dough we separate a small piece of jewelry, the rest is rolled into a large cake and we cover the filling of the future cake. In the middle, make a hole for the exit of steam.

We decorate the remains of dough with our own taste, grease with yolk and send it to the oven heated to 180 degrees for an hour and a half.

You can serve the kurik both as a main course and as a pie.
