Sweet Chuck-chuck


● Eggs — 4 pieces,
● Flour — 350-400 gr. (Depending on the flour, and on the size of the eggs)
● Salt — 1/3 tsp,
● Soda — 0.5 tsp,
● Honey — 1 glass,
● Sugar — 1 glass,
● Almonds (or walnuts) for decoration.
● Vegetable oil for frying — 1 liter.

Ingredients are given on one dish size 24-26 cm.


On the work surface, pour the flour into the hill, make a hole in it, and gradually pour in eggs, whipped with salt and soda, mixing the dough. The dough should not be sticky and soft. Remove the mixed dough in a bag for 15-20 minutes.

Divide the dough into 2 parts, and each part is thinly rolled out on a flour-poured table.
Raskatannye sheets to remove to the side, in order that they a little dried up (10-15 minutes, and so that a draft does not fall on them). But do not overdry. Otherwise it will be difficult to cut it later, the dough will be brittle.

Roll the cut sheets into strips with a width of 5 cm. Fold the strips in half, and put three strips on each other, sprinkling a little of each other with flour (so that they do not stick together)

Cut thin strips of noodles, spread it on the table.
In the cauldron, heat up the vegetable oil, and in pieces, in small batches (roughly a handful), in a quick (on medium heat), fry the noodles. Fry literally 1-2 minutes, a couple of times stirring. Just barely gilded the «noodles» immediately take out a little noise, and put it in a cup on a paper kitchen napkin so that it absorbs all excess fat. Do not overcook noodles, it should be light golden in color.

After fried noodles, let’s get syrup.
We prepare the syrup in another dry cauldron, or any other thick-walled ware.
In the cup to pour 1 tbsp. Honey and 1 tbsp. Sugar, warm up, bring to a boil, stirring constantly, allow to simmer for about three minutes, turn off the fire.

Dip into the hot honey almonds and take it out in a separate bowl, almonds will be useful for decorating the chak-chak.

From a cup of fried noodles, remove paper napkins,
Pour the noodles with hot honey syrup, and gently mix at first with two wooden or silicone spatulas, then, with cold hands dampened with water. Stir gently, so as not to break and not crumble «noodles.» Do not burn, the syrup is hot!

Sprinkle with cold water a plate, on which you will spread chak-chak. And quickly, until the syrup has cooled down, we spread the chak-chak on a plate, forming a slide. It’s important to do everything quickly, otherwise, if the syrup cools down nothing will stick together. When you form a slide, do not strongly press it.

We immediately decorate with honey almonds. You can decorate with walnut, raisins, colorful candies (such as «pebbles»), some kind of multicolored powder, there is a complete flight of fantasies and a matter of taste.
We remove the ready chak-chak in the closet, and we let it stand until the next day, so that it can well grasp.
Chak-chak can safely stand for 1-2 weeks in the closet, without completely deteriorating, just do not forget to cover it with food film.
